The Pre-Qualification Phone Call
Each evaluation begins with a pre-qualification phone call in which an iTeam Staffing professional interviews the candidate to get a sense of their business, communication, and social skills; a clear understanding of their job qualifications and history; and confirmation of their preference for a permanent position or a consultant position.
Criteria for pre-qualifying applicants: We look for the “Basics”

- A - adaptability, flexibility
- S - skills (technical)
- I - interpersonal skills, ability to work well with others
- C - communication skills
- S - stability, loyalty, commitment
Pre-qualifying can be use to determine a potential candidate’s:
- Qualifications
- Years of Experience
- Specific positions held / projects completed
- Multiple marketable skill sets
- Specific achievements
- Availability and desire to do project/staff augmentation work
- Present or most recent pay rate/salary
- Communication skills
- Professionalism
- Flexibility toward job duties and work environment
